My dad and I started a great adventure to ride our bicycles across the USA from Seattle to Cape Cod.  I was 16 years old and it was a once in a lifetime adventure to share with my dad.  I am so happy that we were able to have that adventure together as we have so many great memories and stories.  We were also local celebrity’s in our small town and featured us in the newspaper.  Check out the link for the articles… http://www.netfamine.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=1132

So now, 15 years later, Mike and I are taking this adventure to travel the world.  I once again feel a bit scared and nervous.  Are we really doing this, can we make it, what is it going to be like, did we pack the right stuff, are we ready,  and this is going to be fun right?  These are some of the same thoughts that I had when Dad and I were getting ready to go.  So I know, that when we get back, we will get many miles out of our stories and we will have spent the last year living life to its fullest.
